Blow Down Valves

The 6DB Series of blow down valves provides instrumentation line bleed on air, gas, vapor, and steam service.

The devices perform within an operating range of -65° to +1,200°F and at working pressures up to 6,000 psig. The rugged, union bonnet design, constructed from 316 stainless steel, provides a safety margin by preventing accidental valve disassembly. Straight and angle-pattern bodies are available with Grafoil packing for high-temperature, positive shutoff performance. End connections include tube fitting, female NPT, tube socket weld, and pipe socket weld in a variety of sizes. Flow coefficient is rated at 0.86, and orifice size is 0.25 in. Each unit is factory tested with nitrogen at 1,000 psig for leakage at both the seat and packing.
