Baumer’s CFDK 25 capacitive sensor has 4 fixed sensing distances from 2 to 15 mm that supersede a potentiometer and turn it into a plug-and-play solution.

Baumer (Southington, CT) launches the new CFDK 25 capacitive sensor for the reliable detection of liquid levels in confined spaces. The sensor is characterized by its very flat housing and versatile mounting options. It detects liquids through container materials. Features include:

  • 4 fixed sensing distances from 2 to 15 mm supersede a potentiometer and turn the CFDK 25 into a plug-and-play solution.
  • Housing made from the robust plastic Polyamid 12.
  • Suitability for applications in printing and packaging machines, or in assembly and handling systems where space is at a premium.
