The SCTransGuard Transient Voltage Suppressor features a sub 0.5pF version to minimize signal distortion.

The AVX (Myrtle Beach, SC), SCTransGuard Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS), with unique high-energy multilayer construction, represents state-of-the-art overvoltage circuit protection. Monolithic multilayer construction provides protection from voltage transients caused by ESD, lightning, NEMP, inductive switching, etc. Features include:

  • Thru-hole components are supplied as conformally coated axial devices.
  • A sub 0.5pF version to minimize signal distortion.
  • A one-chip solution for protecting high speed digital interface, HDMI, analog sensor, Flex Ray, GPS antenna and RF amplifier circuit applications.
  • Low capacitance and low insertion loss in a low-profile chip.
  • A sub 1nS response time to ESD strikes and can withstand 100 successive strikes at 8kV (IEC 61000-4-2).
