Automating Assembly

The T.A.P.E (Totally Automated Production Equipment) system is an automated IG assembly and application system that can help fabricators increase productivity by 25 percent. It features grid installation accuracy by marking spacers with an inkjet printer for grid placement. In addition, the system promotes labor and capital efficiencies by minimizing labor costs. It has a redesigned application bed for faster cycle times. The new bed has an updated Windows user interface and is compatible with PMC TapeMate software.
