The Vision350™, a compact all-in-one PLC/HMI device from Unitronics

The Vision350™ is equipped with a color touch screen, an improved processor and diverse I/O options.

Unitronics has introduced the Vision350™, a compact all-in-one PLC/HMI device. The power PLC and enhanced HMI is equipped with a color touch screen, an improved processor and diverse I/O options. Adaptable to most TCP/IP/serial protocols, the Vision350™ offers exceptional communication features, such as Ethernet connection via TCP/IP, GSM/SMS/GPRS, MODBUS, CANopen and UniCAN, according to the company. Additional product features include:

  • Free remote access utilities.
  • A 3.5" color touch screen display that is capable of supporting 3 MB of application memory for images and 512K for fonts — allowing about 250 images and 1024 displays per application.
  • 5 programmable keys that allow customization of customer logo and function keys — keys could be labeled as arrow keys using a supplied keypad slide.
  • Programming capabilities that include trending, built-in alarm screens and HMI language support.
  • 1 MB of logic memory.
  • A scan time of 15 µsec per 1K of typical application.
  • Up to 38 onboard digital and analog I/Os that can expand up to 166.
  • Digital and analog I/Os.
  • Temperature measurement and load cell inputs.
  • Recipe programming via 120 KB of internal data logging.
  • At 24 PID loops with auto-tune, plus an onboard Thermocouple and PT100 inputs, the Vision350™ also incorporates a full function temperature controller.
