The new CE-USB features drivers for all major operating systems.



Saelig Company (Pittsford, NY) announces the availability of the new CE-USB, a fully integrated, USB-powered, USB2.0-to-RS232 adapter, packaged in a DB-9 form factor shell, designed to add a USB interface to legacy serial products without hardware or software redesign requirements. Features include: 

  • 35 mA from the USB port.
  • Drivers for all major operating systems, including Windows, MacIntosh and Linux.
  • CE-USB’s device drivers.
  • A CE-USB adapter featuring a mini-USB connector.
  • An UART interface consisting of TX (transmit) and RX (receive) serial data signals as well as the RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD and RI control signals.
