A Speed Trap For Motor Control

The design of the AXH Series of 30 and 50 W mini-brushless dc motor and board-level driver packages has been reduced in volume by approximately 55 percent when compared to conventional equivalent power ac speed control motors. The motor and driver package provides speed regulation of 1 percent maximum over a 25:1 speed range. The 30 W round shaft model achieves a constant torque of 16.9 oz-in. over the full speed range, while the 50 W unit provides 28.3 oz-in. The motors are available with pre-assembled gearheads. The motor leads are protected by a cable for safety and fast, convenient connection to the driver. In addition, the AXH Series is equipped with control protection functions.
