A Chilling Controller

This custom designed Icemaker Controller combines two mechanical thermostats, two timer relays, and three contactors into a single unit that can be programmed in the field or on the production floor. Field programmability makes changes as simple as flipping a few switches compared to the expensive removal and re-installation of a new controller unit. Combining the thermostats, timer relays, and contactors allowed the manufacturer to add a single unit diagnostic capability unavailable to stand-alone components.
