A Change Of Directional Motion

Crown gear drives, available with custom features, are designed to provide directional motion change in all types of power transmission systems. Featuring spiral bevel gears and non-magnetic stainless steel shafts, these gear drives are suitable for heavy loads and long operation as well as for use in harsh operating environments. Custom features include several shaft options, case modifications for unique mounting requirements, and special finishes. Shaft options include squared, splined, extended, shortened, stepped, and combination models. Case modifications include machining of special mounting flanges and mounting holes. Crown drives are designed so that drive gears are permanently mounted to the drive shafts with locking pins.
