44. Integrated Controller

The XLe Graphical OCS is a low-cost controller that will fit in the palm of a user’s hand (less than 4 x 4 x 2.5 in.) The device includes a graphical operator interface, built-in I/O, networking, and removable mass data storage with MicroSD. XLe also features optional Ethernet or telephone modems. OCS (Operator Control Station) is a robust, reliable “all-in-one” controller that combines a traditional controller-operator interface, I/O, and networking into an integrated, all-in-one unit using a single software package. It is available in a small compact design with a single free software package. No longer does the engineer need to integrate separate devices and separate software packages to get PLC, HMI, I/O, and network to communicate together. The free software is based on ladder logic and is designed to be simple to use.
