42. Two-channel Switches

PumpSaver Models ISS-102 are two-channel, intrinsically safe switches. Several ISS-102 models are available, each with distinct output relay configurations, offering the versatility to control a variety of systems. There is an ISS-102 for use as a pump-up or pump-down latching controller, one for seal-leak detection, and one that functions as a simple intrinsically safe switch, for example. Available options include variable resistance thresholds for probe inputs and invert logic control for use with normally open or normally closed input switches. LEDs clearly indicate output relay state. The ISS-102 intrinsically safe devices, which are UL listed (913 6th Edition—Aug 8, 2002) — offer explosion prevention for critical personnel and equipment safety, thus avoiding down-time and loss of production. The ISS-102’s compact, DIN rail-mountable enclosure with finger-safe terminals is easy to install and saves panel space.
