3u Shallow-depth Chassis Ideal For Mobile Apps

RMSC MX Chassis features four open drive bays that support SATA or IDE drives.

Cyber Research introduces Rugged 3U CyberResearch(r) RMSC MX chassis that are made of 1.6-mm steel and stand up to tough off-road mobile applications. Features include:

  • Low height and 15" depth behind panel.
  • A 400-W EPS power supply that handles five hard drives, seven expansion slots, and five cooling fans.
  • A wide variety of ATX motherboards supporting high-powered Core(tm) 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, and Pentium(r) 4 CPUs. 
  • CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive.
  • Four open drive bays that support SATA or IDE drives.
  • Two 80-mm fans on the front of the unit, one 60-mm fan on the rear, and two  40-mm fans on the power supply.
  • A lockable front door that provides access to two drive bays, two cooling fans, two USB ports, a power switch, and a reset switch.
