13. Cable Design Tool

The GORE On-Line High Flex Cable and Assembly Design Tool enable engineers to design a complete cable assembly. The tool enables system designers to build/design high-flex cables and then add connectors from a menu of standard options for a complete drop-in solution. It provides easy step-by-step instructions to design a cable, creates a controlled specification, and enables 24 hour quoting process. It does not allow the user to violate any of the principles that would be detrimental to the flex life of the cable in the end users application. The design tool reduces cable design time and helps designers select a reliable cable system quickly and easily. The software tool simplifies the design process by giving engineers an interactive design guide, enabling them to design cables and assemblies from standard components to fit their specific application needs.
