  • Miner, can you say "Halliburton"?
    Case closed.

  • When was the last time a US military operation netted the 1% or even the 99% a dime? I cannot think of ANY foreign resources that have been aquired by military means. The wisdom of some military operations can be questioned, but the reality is that keeping the bad guys busy at their house means that they haven't been able to launch any successful big attacks on us at ours. I suggest that you get off of your class warfare and do something productive yourself instead of envying those who do produtive things and provide employment for the rest of us.

  • US taxpayers continue to fund trillions of dollars for weapons and an offensive military capacity. Should really rename the Defense Department back to what it continues to be, the War Department, or to bring it up to date, name it the Department for the Acquisition of Foreign Resources. Our country's volunteer military is truly only a bunch of professional mercenaries doing the bidding of corporations for the financial gain of the One Percent.
