Windmill International, a pioneer in military communication systems, selected Columbia Tech based on the strength and flexibility of its robust supply chain.

The SPRS system is designed for military personnel who need reliable, portable connections to the Global Broadcast System (GBS).

Essential uses for this device include reception of location and situational data, last pass satellite data, real time weather conditions, as well as Predator and UAV video feeds.

The device is lightweight and ruggedized, and can quickly connect with satellites.

"Columbia Tech's meticulously managed supply chain allows us to deliver competitively priced assemblies to our customers on time," says Laura Dion, Vice President of Business Development, Windmill International. "We are rapidly expanding, and the confidence that Columbia Tech can ramp up production at any time to match our demand enables us to be more nimble, responsive and successful."

"Windmill's SPRS system is an essential communications tool for our troops," says Chris Coghlin, President and CEO, Columbia Tech. "We flex our entire supply chain to manufacture the SPRT correctly and effectively. We are proud that Columbia Tech can provide a reliable and regulated environment for the safe and cost-effective manufacturing of this mission-critical technology."
