New ToraSoft foams offer thermoforming capabilities along with unprecedented haptics.

Toray Plastics (N. Kingstown, RI), Inc. PEF Division announces the introduction of new ToraSoft closed-cell foams for all automotive interior trim applications requiring a soft, luxurious feel, precise edges, and exceptional rebound. New ToraSoft foams offer:

70 percent more softness than previous generations.
Proprietary polyolefin resin system.
Thermoforming capabilities along with unprecedented haptics.
A lightweight structure.
High tensile properties, tear strength, thermal stability, and compression set resistance.
Fracture resistance at low temperatures.
Thickness from 1.0 to 6.0 mm.
A variety of colors, densities, and widths.
