San Diego, CA – Sample U, the nation’s first ongoing “tryvertising” (try before you buy) product testing center recently opened on the campus of Alliant International University offering trysumers (consumers) access to a variety of new free product packages, campaigns, samples, branding, messaging and services.
Sample U allows companies to receive “real time” consumer feedback on their new product introductions in a controlled environment prior to market release. Sample U is free and open to the public.
“Sample U is a terrific way for companies to gain consumer insight on their new products and services before rolling it out to market,” explains Linda Neumann, creator of Sample U.

Samplers will fill out detailed profiles and allowing their specific demographic and psychographic needs to be matched to specific products or brands.
Among others, the launch included new product and service offerings from: Intuit for their soon-to-released Quick Receipts, Quicken Picks and Turbo Tax FAFSA products; Restorative Remedies, a nutraceutical company, for messaging in a new television commercial; Guardian Ranch for input on pricing/branding of avocado gift baskets; and for the soon-to-be-published book Success for the Diet Dropout.
Sample U is based at Allliant located at10455 Pomerado Rd in San Diego in Room M5 across from the Sports Center. Consumers may visit Sample U to test the various products on hand. Hours of operation are Sunday 11:00 am - 3:00pm; Monday and Tuesday closed; Wednesday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Thursday 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Friday10:00 am - 2:00 pm; and Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
