
"Power Electronics and Alternative Energy" session features panel of experts from industry, research and government institutions; topics will include "Smart Grid," alternative energy technologies and future power electronics requirements
Mendham, NJ- The Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA) Alternative Energy Committee is sponsoring a Special Presentation session at APEC 2010 titled "Power Electronics and Alternative Energy."
The Special Session will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California and feature seven experts from industry, research and government who will provide a broad overview of alternative energy technologies and ongoing programs including the "Smart Grid."
Attendees at this session will be able to support and anticipate changes to the various alternative energy options and the power grid infrastructure. In addition, OEMs, suppliers and system designers will be more aware of alternative energy options to help differentiate their electronics systems and to focus on the appropriate power electronics for the future.
