The Modified Model 425 (.0001” T.I.R.) Air Chuck features a sprocket face used for axial location.



Northfield Precision Instrument Corporation (Island Park, NY) presents their Modified Model 425 (.0001” T.I.R.) Air Chuck. The work piece is loaded into the chuck sprocket side down. Features include:

  • A sprocket face used for axial location.
  • A locator that provides radial (spring pins) to orient the work piece at a 45.648 degree angle.
  • Hardened and ground top jaws to grip a 43.3mm internal diameter towards the top of the work piece.
  • Available in SAE or metric, in sizes from 3” (76 mm) to 18” (457 mm).
  • Accuracies of 0.001” to 0.00001” (0.25 4m).
