Gilman USA is now under new ownership effective Sept. 13, 2011.
The company, previously known as SKF Precision Technologies, was purchased by Christopher Hetzer, Mark Ziebell and Michael Weiland.
Hetzer, CEO, and Ziebell, CFO, have been with the company since 1977 and 2000 respectively. Weiland, COO, who joined the company in September, previously worked at Albany Door Systems and General Motors. The three owners assumed their new roles, and the company became Gilman USA Sept. 13.
“Gilman USA is a great company with a long history in Wisconsin, and we were excited when offered the opportunity take over ownership and keep jobs here,” Hetzer said. “Our team of seasoned engineers and machinists, who design the precision machine tools that we’ve become known for, remains intact and continues to provide the customized solutions our customers expect. We’re excited about the future, and really, I think the sky’s the limit on how far we can go.”
