New “Eastman Insights” Film Series

Kingsport, TN –The new Eastman Insights Film Series explores how employees help customers achieve extraordinary results at Eastman Chemical Company. Blending technical expertise with innovative approaches, Eastman people deliver practical solutions for customers’ specific market needs.  

A visionary entrepreneur at the end of his rope, a phone that glows, and a brand new way to experience water are just a few of the stories now being told with the launch of its new Eastman Insights films. These short videos of how customers partnered with Eastman are at www.eastman.com/insights.

The first installment of this multi-part film series highlights the collaboration between Eastman and world-class designers, innovative CEOs, and visionary entrepreneurs.

The ongoing series will continue to explore how innovation and insight help solve the challenging problems of Eastman’s diverse customer base.

The Games Kids Play –A visionary entrepreneur risked his life savings to create a healthy children’s drink in a never-before-attempted package. At the end of his rope, two years and 30 manufacturers later, Eastman came to the rescue.

Starring design guru Yves Behar and Y-Water founder Thomas Arndt.

Celebrating Water – A CEO was looking for a world-class designer and leading material provider who “had his back” in creating a high-design “hydration vessel” celebrating the beauty of water.

Starring design maven Ravi Sawhney and KOR One CEO Eric Barnes.

Orbiting the Hairball – Why is a chemical company playing around with designers? For starters: market connect, understanding the needs of major brands, and getting in on the front end of product development.

Starring the world-famous College of Design in Pasadena, California, ace design student Josh Nakaya, and Eastman material experts.

Additionally, viewers can watch Costa deliver an overview of the company's results-driven approach to new technology and product development: Work Backward –Assess market needs, collaborate with customers, and then "head into the lab."
