Moeller Electric Represented In N. America By CopperLogic

Company still sells to a loyal customer base.

Moeller’s U.S. and Canadian sales organizations were actually sold to the present management group five years ago,” according to Ben Orr, CopperLogic’s director of marketing communications.

“We continued to do business as Moeller Electric until the sale of Moeller GmbH last year. This name change has been planned for a while.”

Orr went on to say that the change is in name only. “We’re the same group of people selling Moeller products to a loyal customer base. We just have a different name on our business cards.”

The company currently sells through a network of 600+ distributors in the U.S. and Canada. They plan to expand their lineup immediately by introducing CopperLogic branded control products that compliment the Moeller brand. They will also continue to manufacture and market motor control centers and custom control panels, as well as support Moeller’s large installed base of these products.

Orr said the transition from Moeller Electric to CopperLogic was announced in a private communication to its channel and customer base in October. He expects the transition to be complete by mid year - 2010.
