Wolverhampton, UK–Midland-ACS, a global leader in pneumatic and hydraulic fluid power solutions and subsidiary of ITT Corp., has announced the opening of its new Fluid Power Solution Center in Houston, Texas.

“Building on a commitment to provide enhanced levels of service, sales support, and technical collaboration to the Houston market and the Americas, Midland-ACS made the investment decision to open its new Center of Excellence,” according to Peter Evans, managing director at ITT Flow Control.

“The facility will allow Midland-ACS to quickly respond to our local and regional customers, and distribution partners.”

The new facility is part of ITT’s strategy to expand its connectivity with the oil and gas community in Houston, the Gulf of Mexico, and balance of Latin America regions.

The Center of Excellence includes sales and marketing, a state-of-the-art training, and video-conferencing rooms that use the latest technology to enable virtual meetings around the globe.

The new facility boasts over 20,000 sq. ft. of office and manufacturing space with product configuration and testing, design engineering, and assembly capabilities.

"Midland has been providing highly engineered solutions to the oil and gas industry for more than 50 years,” explains Eugene Rudolph, ITT’s market development leader. “The opportunities presented by Houston’s oil and gas community and the gulf region make it a natural fit for Midland’s continued global expansion.

Our new facility in Houston, together with our existing global engineering and manufacturing locations, will give us the opportunity to expand our team’s technical and applications expertise to better serve the oil and gas market and the energy industry as a whole.”

“Midland recognizes the potential of the Houston and gulf region markets and we look forward to serving the fluid power needs of valve and actuation OEMs and EPCs, along with our distribution partners in this region,” adds Rudolph.
