Foster-Miller Officially Changes Name

McLean, VA– QinetiQ North America announces that Foster-Miller of Waltham, MA, has completed more than four years of co-branding and as of April 1 is officially called QinetiQ North America.

Foster-Miller was acquired by QinetiQ North America in 2004 and is the current headquarters of the company’s Technology Solutions Group.

In addition to Foster-Miller, QinetiQ North America’s Technology Solutions Group includes Planning Systems Incorporated of Reston, VA; Automatika and Applied Perception of Pittsburgh, PA.; Spectro, of Littleton, MA., and the research and development activities of Apogen Technologies, in San Diego, CA.

The Technology Solutions Group consists of more than 800 engineers, scientists and support staff. Among the many educational disciplines are qualified staff in the areas of biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, genetics, microbiology, optics, psychology, robotics and zoology.
