A web server is built in for remote diagnostics and visual confirmation of basic drive parameters.
The option card enables the ability to handle a single connection with an Actual Packet Interval down to 1 ms in both directions.



Card facilitates quick connectivity for Danfoss VLT AutomationDrive to PROFINET-based networks

LOVES PARK, IL -- Danfoss Drives introduces the VLT PROFINET MCA120 Option Card, expanding the Ethernet communication capabilities of the VLT AutomationDrive to PROFINET-based networks. The option card features:

  • The ability to handle a single connection with an Actual Packet Interval down to 1 ms in both directions.
  • A built-in web server for remote diagnostics and visual confirmation of basic drive parameters.
  • PROFINET support for control and parameter setting.
  • HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) support for diagnosis via the built-in web server.
  • SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) support for email notification. 
  • DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) support for automatic IP address configuration.
  • FTP (File Transfer Protocol) support for file up- and download.
  • TSC (Transparent Socket Channel) support for easy access to drive configuration data from Danfoss’ MCT 10.
  • DCP (Discovery and Configuration Protocol) support for making topology and neighborhood recognition.
  • IP-address assertion.
