Vantex's Mitsumi Property Located at Only 6 km from First Gold

The management of Vantex Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: VAX) wishes to remind its shareholders that the company holds a 100% interest in the Mitsumi property, located in the sheet 33C01, less than 6 km (border to border) north of the recent discovery of First Gold Exploration .

Located along the folded extension of the Anatacau-Pivert greenstone belt, this property consists of 20 cells hosting a geological environment favourable for gold exploration, near the Lac a l'eau Claire deposit (Eastmain Ress.: 990 000 ounces of gold) and is accessible all year round using the road leading to the Eastmain reservoir. Geophysics and prospecting for gold have been made in 2007 but no work for lithium has been realized. The management of the company plans to revise, in the coming months, the work done during this campaign in order to test the potential of lithium and rare metals.

Vantex also holds a 100% ownership in the Opi property, located in the sheets 33C08 and 33B05, a few kilometers north of the Mitsumi property. Its strategic location, along a volcanic-sedimentary contact, makes it a prime target for exploration.

The exceptional results achieved by First Gold show that an area rich in lithium and containing significant amounts of rare metals (rubidium, tantalum, beryllium, niobium and gallium) was discovered on the property. Preliminary results announced January 25 and February 1 reported grades of Rubidium of 2.922 g / t over a length of 6.7 meters and 3.558 g / t over 13.5 meters respectively. This discovery is located in an area located more than 2.4 kilometers northeast of the Rose showing and more than 2.5 kilometers south of the Pivert showing. The Pivert / Rose showings are in a geological environment similar to the Cyr project of Lithium One (TSX: TA) both in geology and mineralization. Furthermore, the dykes intersected on the property contain also some spodumene, a significant amount of lepidolite (which is associated with rubidium) and the various dykes intersected are open in all directions.
