TV Guide Network to continue carriage on Comcast

TV Guide Network said Friday it has agreed to continue carriage of the entertainment cable channel on Comcast Corp.

TV Guide Network has extended a multiyear carriage agreement with the nation's largest cable provider. The cable channel is jointly owned by Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. and One Equity Partners, a private equity investment unit of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

TV Guide Network also said it has revamped its programming, including the acquisition of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and the rights to "Ugly Betty." The HBO comedy will air next year.

Comcast shares fell 1 cent to $15.03 in morning trading.
