Ontario Power Generation Inc. reports $259 million in net income for the third quarter, an improvement on the $142-million net loss for the same period of 2009. The provincial Crown corporation said the profit was due mainly to its investments, while its operations continued to be hit by a lower margin rate and reduced demand for electricity.
