Inmet Mining reports $89.8-million profit in Q4 as revenue doubles from year earlier

Inmet Mining Corp. (TSX:IMN) had an $89.8-million profit in the fourth quarter, a turnaround from the $32.5-million loss that the Toronto-based company had a year earlier. On a per-share basis, Inmet had $1.60 of net income in the most recent quarter, compared with a loss of 67 cents in the fourth quarter of 2008. Sales revenue more than doubled to $290.6 million, from $139.6 million.
