Idaho gets $115,000 from Sanofi-Aventis settlement

Idaho's Medicaid Division is getting nearly $115,000 as its share from a nationwide settlement with French drug giant Sanofi-Aventis.

Attorney General Lawrence Wasden said Thursday the settlement resolves allegations that the company's Aventis Pharmaceutical unit knowingly misreported the lowest prices for three nasal sprays, Azmacort, Nasacort and Nasacort AQ.

The multistate and federal settlement, which was announced in May, totals $95.5 million.
