Harris gets $196.5M State Department contract

WASHINGTON (AP) — Harris Corp. received a five-year, $196.5 million contract to provide information-technology services and help-desk support at U.S. consular operations worldwide.

Under the contract from the State Deparment, Harris will provide services at 270 domestic and international consular operations, which includes embassies and consulates as well as passport agencies.

The contract will extend through 2013.
