Cameco net income rises in third quarter, revenue falls

SASKATOON — Cameco Corp. (TSX:CCO) net income rises to $172 million or 44 cents per share in the third quarter, up from $135 million or 39 cents per share in the same period of 2008. Adjusted net income was $104 million or 26 cents per share, down from $127 million or 37 cents per share in the third quarter of 2008. Revenue was $694 million, down from $729 million.
