ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (TSX:ATA) said Wednesday it has ended talks to acquire Rohwedder AG without a deal.

The company said it withdrawn from talks relating to its non-binding indicative offer to the insolvency administrator of Rohwedder AG.

ATS said it is continuing to review a number of opportunities.

ATS makes equipment used in the health-care, computer and electronics, energy, automotive and consumer products industries.<
