DarbeeVision will release its new Visual Presence IP core, the DV3000, at Computex, the largest computer exhibition in Asia and the second largest in the world. DarbeeVision will be at the convention to give demonstrations of the new IP core.
The DV3000 uses technology that inserts depth cues to create images that look like they pop off the screen. It improves images by using digital logic to process an image like the brain does, then adding those results back to the original image. This makes them better than a camera and display system can produce.
Because it uses a logic block that can be synthesize into all leading founding digital libraries, the new Darbee IP core enables manufacturers of consumer electronics to differentiate products without a high added cost.
"The technology has already been successfully utilized in feature films, television and billboards, and we are now, for the first time, making its benefits available to an even broader audience by offering IP licenses,” said Paul Darbee, DarbeeVision's founder and CEO, in a press release.

Darbee processing happens in real-time, with performance surpassing HD 1080p/60 and integrates into the video processing pipeline. It also does not require a full frame buffer, runts at pixel-clock rates and utilizes all-integer arithmetic.
The DV3000 IP core is currently available for licensing.
