Worm Geared Motors

Three-phase BS Series worm geared motors feature a two-stage design and offer a variety of installation options, including foot or flange with single or double output shaft, shaft mounting with hollow shaft in keyed, or shrink disk version with torque arm. These right-angle gearboxes are space-saving drive elements, and are available with a power range from 0.05 to 7.5 hp, output speeds of 0.2 to 300 rpm, and torque of 220 to 8.85 lbf-in. The units include insulated enameled copper wire stator windings, aluminum die cast cage rotors, and high-quality gear wheels. The gearbox housing is completely sealed to ensure reliable operation in harsh conditions. BS Series motors are IP 65 rated as standard. However, IP66 protection is also available.
