Innovative GlassCorp. (Plainview, New York) announces the completion of the largest SPD-SmartGlass window installation in the world, at the Indiana University Health Information and Translational Sciences Building.
This first-of-its-kind project uses the newest generation of SPD light-control film technology developed by Research Frontiers Inc., holder of over 500 patent and patent applications worldwide on SPD technology.

SPD-SmartGlass allows users to instantly and precisely control the amount of light, glare and heat coming through windows and many other products used every day, and can be used to make homes and buildings more energy efficient.
Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd., a licensee of Research Frontiers, produced the SPD-Smart film used by Innovative Glass for this major project.
The completion of this SPD-SmartGlass installation is a milestone for the smart glass industry and sets a new standard of being able to produce very large architectural-sized electrified glass panels containing SPD-Smart film.
