Window Spacer System

Insuledge is a flexible, warm-edge spacer system used to fabricate insulating glass window units. The warm edge spacers provide for reduced heat transfer around the perimeter of the glass units.

It is designed to provide the window market with an alternative to solid, foam, or metal profile spacers. It has a flexible and hollow non-metallic tube design, which allows air to act as an insulator around the edges of the insulating glass unit cavity. The use of air as an insulator combined with the non-metal core makes Insuledge 50 percent lower in conductivity of heat and cold than other warm edge spacers.

The product enables window manufacturers to provide consumers with improved indoor comfort, lower energy bills, and reduced worry of developing mold through condensation.
