Tubular Solenoid With Integrated Return Spring

Suitable for applications such as office automation and medical devices, the new P-8 Series Push Type Solenoid provides a maximum force of 20 oz. and a maximum stroke of 0.187 in. The solenoid is available as standard with 12 or 24 Vdc input voltage, with 10, 25, 50 percent and continuous duty cycles. When the unit’s solenoid coil is energized, the plunger is pulled into the coil. The plunger features a shaft extension, which pushes through a hole in the end of the mounting brushing. The magnetic field cannot be reversed to cause the opposite action to occur, so an integrated return spring is provided to send the plunger/shaft assembly back to the starting position.
