Tubular Part Processing

Equipped with the latest Pro Stent-1 system, the company provides stents and similar tubular parts made of Nitinol and stainless steel. Multiple radius cutting as small as 0.002 in. diameter is possible. Tube size from 0.020 in. up to 0.250 in. can be processed.

Part capabilities obtainable are holes down to 0.004 in. diameter. Grooves can be laser machined down to 0.0008 in. Many configurations can be accomplished: continuous ribbon-wire style cutting, holes through one side of tube only, and assemblies of thin-wall tubes welded to machined components are just a few possibilities.

The process includes laser system with quick-change accurate part control tooling and complete real-time laser parameter control for repeatable part accuracy and quality. These micro cutting services of tubing are available in prototype and production quantities. Automation and clean air system are available and can be customized to customer's requests.

The company makes its process capabilities and Pro Stent-1 systems available to test new part designs, develop a manufacturing process for a new product or to operate a customer's own Pro-Stent-1 machine under contract.
