Thermal Management And Air Filtration Unit

Engineers can rely on a device combining a functional diffuser, a decorative bezel or deflector, and a Telcordia NEBS GR-63-CORE-compliant air filter to meet their thermal management and air filtration needs. The deflector and diffuser can be customized in a range of sizes and styles. To maximize free airflow, the unit features approximately 85 percent open, square, or hex pattern perforated vent panels. The deflector incorporates a louvered design, which allows it to handle specialized HVAC airflow and diffuse airflow in specific directions. The manufacturer’s environmentally engineered line of Quadrafoam and Quadrafoam II filter media meets the requirements of Telcordia GR-63-CORE and GR-487-CORE for flame, fungus, and corrosion resistance. The filters also meet the flame-resistance requirements of UL94 with a zero fungus growth rating. To protect against corrosion, metal components can be treated with special chromate or irridite finishes. Rated UL94 HF-1, Quadrafoam and Quadrafoam II are designed to be easy to clean and reuse and are available in black, gray, and green. Features include deep loading capabilities, increased dust holding capacity, and low air resistance. Quadrafoam II is well suited for prolonged exposure to harmful elements, such as high temperature and high moisture. Products incorporating Quadrafoam II air filters have been environmentally tested to withstand dust intrusion and wind-driven rain.
