Company celebrates 10 Years with purchase of new SLA® precision center

3D Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: TDSC), a provider of 3-D Printing, Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, announces that Realize Inc., a Noblesville, Indiana-based Rapid Prototyping service company celebrating 10 years in business in 2009, has purchased an iPro™ 9000 SLA® Precision Center to increase its large-part manufacturing capabilities

Realize is a 3D Systems’ Preferred Service Provider (PSP), delivering high-quality Stereolithography parts to customers around the world. The next-generation iPro™ 9000 is Realize’s sixth SLA® System from 3D Systems and was purchased to respond to increased demand for large, single-piece parts built from 3D Systems’ integrated portfolio of Accura® Plastics.

The iPro™ 9000 SLA® Center quickly and economically produces durable plastic parts with unprecedented surface smoothness, feature resolution, edge definition and tolerances that rival the accuracy of CNC-machined plastic parts. Equipped with the new, state-of-the-art SteadyPower™ Imager, the iPro™ 9000 SLA® Center delivers consistently reliable output with faster build speeds and lower part cost.
