Temperature Transmitter (4095)

Series 659 Pushbutton Temperature Transmitters are engineered to be quickly ranged and calibrated using a single, on-board switch. They accept thermocouple (J, K, T) or RTD input and convert the sensor temperature to a linearized 4 to 20 mA output. T/C models are described as accurate to (0.04 percent F.S., (0.04 percent of reading, or (0.5°C, which ever is greater. RTD models are described as accurate to (0.2°C (0.1 percent of reading.

Priced at $99, the temperature transmitters are said to be easy to program as no additional software is needed. The units feature an LED that provides a visual indication of the sensor fault and programming mode, and reverse-polarity protection is a built-in feature. They are designed to be mounted inside a DIN-standard probe head enclosure. They measure 1.65 in diameter and weigh 0.92 oz. They are galvanically isolated and cold-junction compensated.
