Series 04 and 14 stainless steel switches

EAO Series 04 and 14 stainless steel switches for control panels that need extra protection against impact, vandalism, dirty environments and harsh operation.

EAO introduces Series 04 and 14 stainless steel switches for control panels that need extra protection against impact, vandalism, dirty environments and harsh operation. The stainless steel switches offer:

  • Availability as pushbuttons or indicators in 22.5 and 30mm round sizes, either in flush or raised mounting styles.
  • Strength and durability both in front and behind the panel.
  • Ability for the pushbutton to be fitted with a stainless steel lens, protective front ring and bezels to create an impact- and vandal-resistant surface.
  • A flush-mounting option for protection against side impact and accidental operation.
  • Restriction of dirt accumulating around the switch and bezel ultimately making cleaning and maintenance of panels a snap.
  • Series 14 can be sealed to IP67 against oil and dirt ingress.
  • Self-cleaning, snap-action switching elements with gold-plated silver contacts behind the panel to prevent the switch from sticking; silver/palladium contacts may be specified for certain switches for use in particularly aggressive environments.
  • High-intensity LED illumination with a virtually limitless service life.

EAO recommends these products for industrial and machinery applications where equipment is frequently washed down, and any environment where harsh use or vandalism is a potential problem. Stainless steel products are readily available with pricing of accessories starting at only $0.65 in small quantities.
