Servo Control System

The SM3416, NEMA 24 size low-cost, fully integrated servo motor is an entire servo control system that is built into a motor. It is designed for extremely low-cost manufacturing because it has a die cast aluminum housing, a machine wound stator, and a molded magnet rotor.

It is capable of outputting more than 1 NM of continuous torque, answering a call for an integrated servo in this particular torque range. The unit is completely full featured and is designed so that is does nothing less than the traditional, higher-end motors on the market.

The 1 NM torque range in the unit's low price point opens up otherwise difficult to crack international markets because it helps OEMs make automated equipment at a low enough cost to sell internationally.
