Sensor Products (2283)

Several new 5 mm and 18 mm round and rectangular photoelectric sensors, and new proximity sensors that range in size from 3 mm to 30 mm are available.

The 5-mm, self-contained photoelectric sensors come in diffuse models or emitter and receiver pairs. The 18 mm round and rectangular sensors are available in diffuse or reflective models, emitter and receiver pairs, and background suppression models. All the photoelectric sensors come in NPN or PNP versions. The 5 mm models have an IP67 submersible rating, and rectangular models have an IP65 washdown rating.

Proximity sensor models include 3 mm and 4 mm stainless steel round models in NPN and PNP versions, with prices starting at $57. These small round models are suitable for robotics applications or pharmaceutical applications in indexing controls.

New rectangular models include 10 mm, 5 x 5 mm, or 8 x 8 mm sizes, starting at $19. Several one-piece, stainless steel proximity sensors have been added in 12, 18, and 30 mm sizes in NPN and PNP versions. They are submersible to 290 psi.
