Senior Motorola Executive Joins Battery Pack Manufacturer

Columbus, OH-Nexergy announces that former Motorola executive Jay Andersen will join the company as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Product Development. 

Andersen, a 26-year Motorola veteran with a reputation as a customer service champion, was most recently its Vice President and General Manager for Home & Networks Mobility in the Asia region.

Andersen, a 26-year Motorola veteran with a reputation as a customer service champion, was most recently its Vice President and General Manager for Home & Networks Mobility in the Asia region. 

He will direct Nexergy's sales, marketing and product development efforts from the company's facility near Denver. Reporting to Andersen will be John Costa, Director of Marketing and New Product Development; Randy Ibrahim, Vice President of Technology; and Mark Magoon, National Sales Manager.

In his recent position at Motorola in Singapore, Andersen oversaw a $250 million business and was responsible for designing, selling and servicing a suite of custom products from digital cable networks to cellular infrastructure systems. Earlier in his Motorola career, Andersen had served for more than two years in Swindon, England, and had been promoted to Vice President of GSM Networks.
