Self-contained Vacuum Stations

New Electric Vac-Pack Stations are self-contained vacuum stations said to feature high-flow vacuum pumps and energy-saving circuitry. The stations are well suited for a range of large-capacity applications, such as custom jigs, special-purpose lifters, and hold-down clamping systems. The stations resist contamination thanks to a vacuum pump that is dry and oil-free. Additional features include a reservoir, gauges, red and green indicator lights, and a pendent control with an attach and release switch. A power on-off switch with thermal overloads on the pump and motor and an adjustable low-vacuum warning horn are also included. The pumps shut off automatically when the proper vacuum is reached and stays constant above a preset level. Engineers can choose versions with 1-1/2, 3, or 5 hp motors. Pricing ranges from $2,795 to $5,795, depending upon capacity.
