The E4TP is a new screw plug terminal enclosure that is suitable for a wide range of applications in harsh environments. Consisting of a lightweight, high-strength thermoplastic material, the E4TP features a 1/4 turn-twist lid that opens into a termination connection workspace. An O-ring gasket ensures a watertight seal when the lid is re-attached and secured with the self-tapping set screw. The terminal enclosure, which features 1/4, 1/2, and 2/4 in. conduit openings, can be rotated and set for fixed conduit locations. This design is said to provide easy access to the terminal connection. The device meets UL, CSA, CE, and RoHS requirements. Furthermore, the E4TP is suitable for NEMA 4 and 4X environments, and its impact strength meets ASTM D256 test standards. The terminal enclosure is suitable for use in hot water storage tanks, warming equipment, food processing equipment, cleaning and rinsing tanks, heat transfer systems, process air equipment, and boiler equipment. It can also be used in applications that involve preheating all grades of oil and freeze protection of any fluid.
