Same Content, New Format For Newsalert

Jeff Reinke, Editorial Director

"Have a great holiday season." -Jeff Reinke

First of all, I’d like to thank you all for your continued support of Product Design & Development throughout 2008. Not only has it been a lot of fun for us, but both our print and on-line properties have benefited tremendously from your readership, feedback and general use of the monthly magazine, its special supplements, our re-vamped website and this weekly e-newsletter.

While we regret that this will be the final NewsAlert deployment of 2008, we're excited to announce that we'll be reaching out to you on a daily basis in 2009, starting in January. The added frequency will allow us to provide more of the type of information you've been accustomed to seeing on a weekly basis, while also adding market data to help guide your projects through the somewhat uncertain economic times that lie ahead.

Additionally, we'll work to offer more user-friendly, multi-media formatted information that provides greater insight on current and future design trends and applications.

In closing, we hope you have a great holiday season and we'll look forward to providing you with more and even better component, system and application information that will help make 2009 a fun, successful and profitable year for all of us.
