The R Series of rocker switches are UL, CSA, VDE, SEMKO, NEMCO, DEMCO, FEMCO, and SEV recognized and designed to fulfill virtually any rocker switch need. Both single-pole and double-pole models are offered in seven different single and double-throw maintained or momentary-action configurations. Neon or fluorescent illuminations are also offered for the on/off models with a selection of red, green, or orange lenses in either a round or square shape. Case colors include gray, black, and white.

With a choice of six actuator colors, the R Series models are designed to satisfy a range of cosmetic or coding requirements. Both flat or curved actuator shapes may be specified. Five standard actuator markings are also available.

The units offer a front-panel bezel size of 0.094 in by 1.260 in, and switches that snap-in in a cutout that is 0.866 in by 1.189 in. The switches have an overall depth behind the front panel of approximately 0.700 in. Three terminal options include solder lug, quick-connect, and screw types. Electricals include initial contact resistance of 20 milliohms maximum, dielectric strength of 1,000 Vac, and electrical life from 10,000 to 50,000 cycles, depending on load.
